🎻✨ This year marks an exciting milestone in FIMA’s journey: The introduction of our brand-new Strings Category, expanding the academy’s mission to support even more young musicians in their artistic growth.
Under the guidance of mentors from the @viatoresquartet and the @fiestravaganza_ensemble, participants experienced a rich and collaborative program — from chamber music coaching and rehearsals alongside their piano peers to performing in the great hall of the University of the Arts Berlin.
Selected string participants also joined the Camerata Fiestravaganza in both the Opening and Closing Galas, performing under the baton of @evanalexischrist. 🌟

Joined by a wonderful audience of nearly 600, the FIMA 2025 Closing Gala marked the grand finale of an unforgettable journey. Under the masterful direction of @evanalexischrist and accompanied by the incredible Camerata Fiestravaganza, the stage was alive with passion and the joy of making music together. 👏🏻
From the dazzling energy of Bach’s D minor and F minor concertos performed by @connorchong4 and Alexandru Becheru, to the elegance and charm of Mozart brought to life by @zhuyi.music, @bryanpianist, Yuchen Han, @chloe.cy.chong and @jo_han12123, each moment was a celebration of musical brilliance. Joshua Kwan’s soulful Saint-Saëns and @joonohk’s heartfelt Schumann closed the night with depth and grandeur. 😍

On July 30th, our piano and string participants filled the UdK Concert Hall once again with memorable performances, each sharing their artistry and passion with the audience.💜
