❗️CALLING ALL STRING PLAYERS: The application deadline for the Strings Category at FIMA 2025 is approaching! 🎻

🎓 For the first time ever, FIMA is opening its doors to young violinists, violists & cellists! Participants will receive solo & chamber music coaching by members of two promising ensembles from Berlin – the @viatoresquartet and our very own @fiestravaganza_ensemble!

✨Leading the strings are our four mentors – @aoisaito, @louisarosestaples, @karolinapawul, and @oliwiameiser – who serve as principal players of the Camerata Fiestravaganza, a vibrant orchestra of over 50 exceptional musicians from Berlin’s three major music universities: @udkberlin, @hannseislerberlin, and @barenboimsaidakademie.

🎶 String participants will rehearse chamber music together with their piano peers and the mentors themselves, and will get the chance to showcase their talent at our public concerts.

😍 As the grand finale, selected participants will join the Camerata Fiestravaganza on stage at the FIMA 2025 Closing Gala!

🎻 Exciting News for Strings at FIMA 2025!

🎓 For the first time ever, FIMA is opening its doors to young violinists, violists & cellists! Participants will receive solo & chamber music coaching by members of two promising ensembles from Berlin – the @viatoresquartet and our very own @fiestravaganza_ensemble!

✨The four mentors lead the string sections as principals of the Camerata Fiestravaganza, an orchestra consisting of over 50 exceptional musicians from the three major universities of music in Berlin – @udkberlin, @hannseislerberlin and @barenboimsaidakademie.

🎶 String participants will receive both individual and group coaching as they present solo works and rehearse chamber music together with their piano peers and the mentors themselves. They will also get the chance to showcase their talent at our public concerts.

😍 As a crowning opportunity, selected participants will join the Camerata Fiestravaganza at the Closing Gala of FIMA 2025!
