A night to remember..✨
Joined by a wonderful audience of nearly 600, the FIMA 2025 Closing Gala marked the grand finale of an unforgettable journey. Under the masterful direction of @evanalexischrist and accompanied by the incredible Camerata Fiestravaganza, the stage was alive with passion and the joy of making music together. 👏🏻
From the dazzling energy of Bach’s D minor and F minor concertos performed by @connorchong4 and Alexandru Becheru, to the elegance and charm of Mozart brought to life by @zhuyi.music, @bryanpianist, Yuchen Han, @chloe.cy.chong and @jo_han12123, each moment was a celebration of musical brilliance. Joshua Kwan’s soulful Saint-Saëns and @joonohk’s heartfelt Schumann closed the night with depth and grandeur. 😍
Thank you to our brilliant musicians, our tireless team, and every single person who supported us along the way. You’ve made this festival truly special – and while FIMA 2025 has now come to a close, the memories, friendships and music will keep resonating in our hearts. 💜

Impressions from the Solo Recital 🎹🎻
On July 30th, our piano and string participants filled the UdK Concert Hall once again with memorable performances, each sharing their artistry and passion with the audience.💜
After the concert, everyone returned to the stage for the certificate ceremony, ending the night with smiles, applause, and a fun group shot (swipe to the end so you don’t miss it! 🥰)

Throwback to our incredible Chamber Music Concert on the 28th! 🎻🎹
Our wonderful string coaches – @louisarosestaples, @aoisaito, @karolinapawul, and @oliwiameiser – worked intensively with FIMA 2025’s String & Piano Participants to prepare an inspiring program of duos, trios, and quartets featuring works by Shostakovich, Beethoven, Brahms, and more.
The evening opened with a performance by the @fiestravaganza_ensemble, followed by the participants – many of whom experienced playing chamber music for the very first time under the guidance of their coaches. 🧡

🎉 Welcome to the Fiestravaganza International Music Academy 2025!
Our first day started off with smiles, snacks and introductions as our lecturers Prof. Christian A. Pohl and Prof. Lucas Blondeel, string coaches @louisarosestaples, @oliwiameiser and @karolinapawul as well as our lovely participants were officially welcomed. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere!
The day continued with a special workshop led by @lucasblondeel.music, who guided us through the fascinating world of Bechstein’s unique collection of vintage instruments – a rare opportunity to experience history through sound.
A big thank you to our project coordinator @yanmg__ and our helpers @daeumlerluis and @itsmealfonsosam25 for making things go smoothly! 😍
We can’t wait to spend a whole week filled with music, connection and incredible performances with you 💜

What an incredible experience! We successfully wrapped up this year’s Opening Gala at the UdK Concert Hall, presenting beautiful works by the Great Romantics – Chopin, Rachmaninov, Grieg and more.🥳🎹
We are truly grateful for the amount of people that came to listen to us, diving into FIMA’s vision with a passionate applause for every artist on stage.
Under the baton of @evanalexischrist, the Camerata Fiestravaganza and @yuchia.huang_816 delivered a Grand Opening Grieg which was followed by @vannessyu_‘s energetic interpretation of Prokofiev’s 1st Piano Concerto. The first half was then closed by @musicshaun presenting the moving 2nd Piano Concerto by Chopin.
The second half took us on a journey through emotional renditions of Beethoven’s 3rd Piano Concerto (performed by Leo Denizen) and Rachmaninov’s iconic Piano Concerto No. 2(performed by Entong Hou, @anju_nogiwa and @kaydenkellymusic).
